Welcome to David Maria Tobaldi website Researcher in the field of Ceramic Materials

 

 

David Maria Tobaldi, PhD, has been working in the ceramic field over the last six years. During these years of studying and research, he got a good knowledge of such a class of materials.

Experienced in Rietveld crystal structure refinements and quantitative phase analysis on X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) data, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), microstructural characterization and surface functionalization of ceramic materials. Also well trained in other routine analysis apparatus such as: TEM, FT-IR and UV-Vis-NIR spectroscopy.

During the PhD he opened and kept up several collaboration, the most relevant of them are with Centro Ceramico Bologna, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, University of Patras, ZAG Ljubljana and Shanghai Institute of Ceramics.

Currently, works as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Ceramics and Glass Engineering Department, CICECO, University of Aveiro, Portugal.
